Last weekend, once again, I found myself in Cornwall! I went with George, to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in Mawgan Porth, somewhere, neither of us had been before, however I was familiar with the area, having stayed in the Newquay area a few times already.
Fortunately we had one day of sunny weather, so made the most of it and visited Newquay Zoo, Fistral Beach and Mawgan Porth Beach.
We visited Newquay Zoo in the morning, its a fairly small zoo, so we'd covered in within a couple of hours. We were then able to enjoy fish and chips from Rick Steins Fistral, followed by a walk on the beach watching the surf...and the surfers, it was freezing, rather them than me! We then caught the sunset at Mawgan Porth Beach which rounded off our time away nicely.
