Recently I have been lucky enough to spend some time in Cardiff, South Wales. It's a city that I had never visited until November last year, however I love going back and exploring new places each time I go there.
I have been inspired by the architecture throughout the city, but more specifically around the Cardiff Bay area, with the mix of new and old.
Here are some photographs that I have taken whilst wondering around the city, along with some paper cuts that I have designed, all of which based on the architecture, which is a subject I would certainly like to explore more, as I find it more challenging, however I feel the results are worth it!

My paper cut interpretation of the millennium centre - this made me realise how much I like cutting letters/words, therefore I may have to practice my calligraphy skills to create my own original word based designs |
